This course focuses on preparing carpet inspectors for certification, it also serves as an introductory floor covering inspection course explaining basic investigation procedures that apply to all floor coverings.

This course exceeds course requirements of an IICRC approved carpet inspection course for those who wish to meet the requirements of an IICRC certified Senior Inspector.

In the last course, Bennie Woods from Advanced Adhesive Technology, Randall Green from Mohawk, Carroll Turner overseer of CRI's vacuum testing and appearance retention grading scales and Lee Phillips from Professional Testing Labs all participated as guest instructors.

Tours. We tour tufting, weaving and yarn extrusion processes, research test labs and other facilities.

Printed material varies to remain current but in the last class two large manuals, 1 textbook, a CD with miscellaneous reference materials and hundreds of pages of related industry literature were handed out, catalogued and discussed.
